That really is a microbrewery!

Week 65

And a momentous week it is too – well, for me anyway. The text of the book was completed at 9.05am on Friday 29th March 2013. Of course, there is a lot more to a book than just text, but text is the one thing you can’t do without. It will be altered and amended a good bit more, and I now have several weeks of writing captions to look forward (er….) to, but hey, we are definitely getting there. Celebrations all round. As to this week’s pics, they are from the very lovely Dorset County Museum in Dorchester, one of those fantastic Victorian collections, magnificent building. They devote a lot of space to local brewers Eldridge Pope, one of the exhibits being this really splendid miniature brewery made by the firm’s apprentices and showing in intricate detail all the vessels. Apparently the scale is so good that it actually works and you can brew a thimbleful of beer using the kit. I feel rather more than a thimbleful may be drunk tonight!
