Almost at the printers

After rigorous checking of the three indexes (indices?) the complete final text of Built to Brew has gone off to the designer who will integrate the few small changes into the overall design. And then…. off to the printers! Not sure whether I get to see actual page proofs (ie paper rather than pdfs) but publication is due a couple of months from now, so perhaps we should all relax until then. Having worked with a very good pdf of the whole book, albeit with low-res pics, it will be great to see the real thing and see how the illustrations have come out (all 230 or so of them). Today’s pic is the old Home Brewery in Nottingham, as it was before the present office frontage was put up around the 1950s and the entire brewery itself demolished to make way for a car park.
